Thermowood® cladding we supply is either Pine or Spruce softwood that has undergone a manufacturing process that uses high temperatures and steam to thermally modify the timber to produce a more durable product than if untreated. The Thermowood® manufacturing process results in the timber being darkened, dimensionally stable and significantly improved biological durability. This makes it ideally suited for external use specifically for cladding buildings.
It meets class 2 & 3 durability to BS EN350-1, and is machined to comply with the Harmonised Standard EN 14915:2006. We are pleased to supply the Declaration of Performance DOP/SW/CL/03 as required.
